Contentment is not freedom from desire, but freedom of desire. Being content is not pretending that everything is the way you wish it would be; it is not acting as though you have no wishes. Rather, it is no longer being ruled by your desires.
This blog began in 2009. I found myself depressed, lost and lonely. I wanted to find "me" again the person I thought that I loved and missed. By the grace of God 2010 & 2011 were full of lessons as the Lord spoke so clearly to my heart through each one I learned much about myself... but even more about my God. I am aware now that this life I lead is a journey. To be taken one day at a time with my Heavenly Father guiding me one step at a time. That is how we were ment to live, fully dependent on Him and His abundant grace. I know this now. And this is how I choose to live my journey out until the day that my time is up on this earth. Cheers to 2012, another year to walk closer to God and love deeper on those around me in this season...
